Grocery Outlet and 4690World, LLC Win 2009 Retail Innovation Award “RIO Grande” helps drive efficient store operations with timely, reliable information
STRONGSVILLE, OH – June 25, 2009 – The IBM Retail User Group announced Grocery Outlet as the winner of the 2009 Retail Innovation Award. This prestigious Award was presented at the User Group’s 32nd annual conference in Las Vegas, NV - May 17-20, 2009. The Innovation Award carries special meaning because the winner is chosen by the winner’s peer group – the retail membership of the organization. The innovative solution provider, 4690World, was also honored with the Retail Solution Innovation Award. Innovation has been driving competitive advantage in retail for over a century; however, in these difficult and challenging economic times it has never been more important.
